We require 24 hour advance for cancellation of booked appointments. No refund is given if advance notice is received, but instead a credit issued for a rebooking.

Coupons, & Specials
The same refund policy applies to all booked appointments. For promotional prices we require that all massages be booked within the 2013 calendar year else they are deemed forfeited by the purchaser. No monetary value will be given for any promotional items.

Special promotional pricing cannot be combined .- in other words only one special promotional pricing can apply.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates must be used within the calendar year else they are deemed to be expired. All above policies apply to gift certificates.

  For relaxation please set your cell phone/pager to silent. Gratuities are not included in the treatment price, but are always appreciated for outstanding services. Please arrive approximately 10 minutes prior to your appointment. Spa treatments will end at the schedule time regardless of your arrival time and full charges will apply. Change clothes for Thai massage are provided complimentary, if necessary.
 How old do I need to be? You must be 18 years old or older.
   Is Touch Temple Massage Spa licensed? Yes, we are a licensed business providing professional massage.
 Are your massage professionals certified? Yes, we only use trained certified massage professionals. Certficates are avaliable for inspection.
  What hours are you open? Our regular hours are Monday- Friday 4-10pm. Sat and Sunday by appointment only. However, if you would like a daytime appointment Monday to Friday, please call us- we will do our best to meet your needs.
  What if I have health problems? We provide a free consultatation and will recommend the massage best for you. Some health problems will prevent us from performing a massage or we will modify it to suit your condition. In some cases we will require a doctor's approval.

 Who cannot or should not get massage?

 People with infectious skin disease, rash, or open wounds

Immediately after surgery

Massage should not be done directly over bruises, inflamed skin, unhealed wounds, tumors, abdominal hernia, or areas of recent fractures.

If  you have cancer, heart, or blood conditions we request approval from your doctor.

Immediately after chemotherapy or radiation, unless recommended by your doctor

People prone to blood clots. There is a risk of blood clots being dislodged. If you have heart disease, check with your doctor before having a massage.


** We do not recommend spa massages for pregnant women. If you are pregnant, we are not able to give you a massage or will restrict the massage type and require you to consult with your doctor prior.****

 Will massage hurt?   Most people find massage to be pleasant but sometimes bodies can be sensitive to massage. Your masseuse is a trained professional so please let them know if you are experiencing any discomfort so they can adjust or stop the massage.

Do I need to be naked? No, we do not require, nor allow you to be naked. The only massage in which you may be partial unclothed is Aromatherapy Oil, Chakra Chime, Weightloss Detox and Infrared Bio-mat Massage, in which case we require that you keep your underwear on, and you will be covered with a large towel  or sheet on the parts not being massaged. You’ll be covered by a sheet and blanket at all times, with only the area being worked on exposed.

 Can I get a massage if I don't like to be touched or seen in my underwear? We are trained professionals so there is no need to be worried about us seeing you in your undies, but there are other massages that you can have while being fully clothed, as well we invented a touch less massage. You will also be covered with a towel or covering. We also have a amethyst bio-mat for meditation sessions.
  Do you have showers? Although we provide a private change bathroom where you are welcome to freshen up after a massage, we do not have showers, so be sure to leave yourself enough time after your appointment to shower elsewhere if you are going out afterwards.
 What do I need to wear? Wear what you like, but you will need to wear underwear. For Thai massage, please wear loose comfortable clothing.

 Can I choose female or male masseuse? We have only female practitioners at this time who are certified professionals. 

For some massage deals and for some massages only a female or male can give the massage depending on their certiffation and expertise, so for those ones we hold the right for the choice to be our discretion but all masseuses are professionally certified. We have done the best we can to indicate per massage type if there are restrictions based upon certificaion.

  What if I have a reaction to the ingredients in the massage products? All our products are 100% pure natural. If by chance you do have an allergic reaction or other type of reaction, please see your doctor. We will be happy to supply a list of ingredients to your doctor to help remedy the situation.

 What should I do before my massage to get the best benefits?

For about 1 hour before your massage try not to have anything to eat, and for about 1/2 hour before your massage, try not to have anything to drink.

After your massage, for 1-2 days after please drink LOTS of water.

Possible "After Effects" and "After Treatment"

The majority of people feel both relaxed and rejuvenated after massage.  However,some people may experience after affects of massage. These "after effects" are perfectly normal and should only last 12-18 hours.

You might call this a healing crisis. The healing crises is the result of massage making all body systems function more efficiently, speeding up waste removal and the elimination of toxins. Massage can also help rid an individual of negative deep-held emotions.

With regular treatments and as the body starts to heal and rebalance, these symptoms will subside.

Some of the typical contra-actions or "after effects" could include the following:


  • Tiredness due to release of toxins and the initiation of healing energies which require the body to rest.
  • Active bowels as accumulated toxins are released.
  • Changed sleep patterns with liklihood of deeper sleep.
  • Frequent urination due to the stimulation of the lymphatic system.
  • Heightened emotional state due to the positive release of deep-held feelings and emotions.
  • Muscular ache and/or headache due to the nerve fibers responding to the deep work that has taken place.
  • Headache, nausea, thirst, a sore throat, tiredness,
  • You may need to pass water more.
  • Contra actions put simply mean mild side effects usually can occur.
  •  Break out in spots (Temporarily). This is due to the movement of lymph and toxin elimination.
After Care


  • Drink plenty of water or herbal tea. Drink at least 64 ounces of water immediately following massage.
  • Avoid alcohol or any other stimulants for at least 12 hours after the treatment  as these will dehydrate you.
  • Rest after the treatment. Allow your body to heal and settle.
  • Only eat a light meal following treatment.
  •  Always follow the care advice of your doctor.
  • If instructed following the massage session:
    • Gentle stretching
    • Hot/cold treatment
    • Hot shower or bath


Live Well!

  • Try and make regular time to take Regular exercise
  • Make time for yourself! Even if it’s just an odd minute here or there. This should be 15 min per day minimum.
  • Try Practicing Deep Breathing exercises to help you relax.
  • Try and add more Fruit and Vegetables to your everyday diet.
  • Try to get enough sleep- at least 7 hours per night.
